Ultimately, it is up to you to decide if it is better to buy or lease your future new car. However, here at Boucher Hyundai, we can help you come to that decision by giving you some pros and cons for each option for you to decide which one you would rather go with. Let’s begin
Pros and cons of buying vs leasing a new vehicle
This is probably the most obvious, but most important difference: if you buy a car, it’s yours, whereas if you lease one, it is only something you are renting. While that may be obvious, it is something important to consider, as it does impact what you can and cannot do in your new car. For example, if you accidentally stain the seating or flooring of a car that you bought, it may be a bit of an annoyance, but there won’t be big consequences for the most part. However, if you stain the interior of a leased car, it can cost you money you may not be willing to shell out. Being careful of how your leased car looks, and how many miles you drive is a huge part of leasing a car, if you don’t intend to buy out the lease at the end.
