I recently visited Boucher Hyundai of Waukesha to trade in my 2023 Palisade for a 2026 model. Having had an excellent experience at the Janesville Boucher location previously, I expected the same level of professionalism. Instead, I faced a stressful, four-hour process that felt designed to exhaust me into a deal. The Experience: Intentional Delays: I arrived at 4:40 PM with my wife and baby after calling ahead to ensure a fast-track process. Despite this, every communication cycle between the salesperson and the finance team took 15+ minutes, stretching the process unnecessarily. Low-Ball Trade Offer: They initially offered $28k for my trade-in, well below market. It took persistent haggling and showing a $34,500 Carvana offer to get them to a fair number. Financing Obstacles: I came with a pre-approval from my credit union, which I explicitly stated. The dealership spent hours trying to run my credit elsewhere. At 7:00 PM, they claimed my credit union was "closed" and I couldn’t use my own financing unless I returned the next day. Bad-Faith Positioning: Knowing I live over an hour away in Janesville and that we were under an active tornado watch, suggesting I "come back tomorrow" felt like a tactic to force me into their internal financing just to get my family home safely. I ultimately took their lender's rate just to end the ordeal and drive my family home in hazardous weather. While the 2026 Palisade is excellent, the buying experience was the exact opposite of the "Boucher way" I had previously experienced.

Had a great experience at Boucher, I bought my last vehicle there and was pleased with the service. This time I did not end up buying a Hyundai, but if I did, I would have bought it here. Terrible customer service and communication. I dropped my car off at 11am and received no call or updates that day. I called the following day at 12pm, 2pm and again at 4pm asking to speak with our service advisor Devin. I never received a call back after my first two attempts and on the 3rd attempt finally spoke with Devin who gave me an update that a piece needed to be ordered for our vehicle. I addressed his lack of communication with me and he stated he has been busy.

I had my car in for service and Devin (service advisor) did not know what happened with my car (within warranty) until I was checking out and saw it on the bill. I have tried to follow-up to get additional items addressed and never responds. Also, the shuttle driver spent a large portion of the 20 minute drive talking about how unreliable Hyundai and Genesis cars are.

Everyone was so patient, and knowledgeable. I appreciate Darlene and Niko so much! They took their time, worked with my financial situation and got me an amazing car!

Engine recall fixed. Work was explained & done on time. No extra fees. Car runs great!

We are very happy with our car buying experience. We will recommend them to friends and family.

Tired of being told the vehicle will be ready in a certain amount of time, only to have it take considerably longer. Also disappointed to learn they will not supply a loaner car to address a factory recall issue.

Came back 2 hours later as told it would be no longer than that. Not even started. Mechanic went out got it and finished in a half hour he was fantastic.

This is the best service department that we've ever dealt with. Dan Doble goes above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied!
