He wound up having to do a lot of go-between in order to get the price to where I would approve, so I appreciated his patience with that. I don't feel like I was given enough for my trade-in - another $500 would have been better. I know he was ready to make the deal before I was, but I had to put some space between myself and the deal and think about it over the weekend, as well as look at my other options. I had also hoped they would come down another $500. I ultimately decided that this car was acceptable and contacted Boucher a couple days later to finalize the purchase. After that, my only complaint was with the hard sell during closing to make me buy this, that, and every other sort of coverage. I decided it was just as hard to pay cash for a car as it is to finance one.

I have had such positive experiences at Boucher Hyundai. Someone checks me in a timely manner. The waiting room is comfortable and full of amenities. The last time I was there was a couple of days ago when I turned in my leased car for a new one. I have been working with Darlene for the last 6 years. She is professional and friendly. Her knowledge of the system is sharp and competent. After test driving a new car, to my surprise, I didn’t care for the color or wheels and a couple of other minor things. Darlene pivoted and offered me a different car and test drove that one. I loved it and signed on the dotted line. Again, it was a positive experience. My overall experience has been very good. The only criticism I had was I was being offered 1 year of oil changes instead of the 3 years in my 2 other leases. This was out of her control, but to the power that be s, I am not happy about that at all. That slight will be factored into my decision for my next lease.

An absolutely pleasant experience with my salesperson, Himmy Pathak. He guided me through the test drive, the negotiation process, and delivery. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, show me a person you can trust. Well, if you need a dealer and a sales person you can trust, come on down. We worked with Nick, and for a young guy he is extremely knowledgable. The most important thing is, the car we ended up picking was at another Boucher dealership about a half hour away. We asked if Nick could help us while we were there, and his managers provided him with a loaner car to make the drive, and he spent four hours as our go-between while buying our new vehicle from a different dealership in the auto group instead of being in his own office where he could be making money. Full disclosure: he was getting a split commission on the car we bought, but he had more opportunity to make money in his own desk than using someone else's at another location. The cherry on top is that he called us a couple days later and asked if he could join us when we went to pick up the car. If you want a knowledgable and honest car guy and a dealership that puts the customer first, this is the place, and Nick is your guy!

During my recent car shopping experience, I was considering a Hyundai Palisade as well as a few other similar vehicles from other dealerships. Nick Hall was extremely helpful in getting me to know the Hyundai. He then followed through without being pushy. In the end, I decided on a different vehicle, mainly due to better pricing, but that wasn't on Nick, though. If you stop in to the Waukesha location, definitely ask for him.

But as a lifelong Information Technology professional, what impressed me the most was their seamless integration of technology throughout the entire process, especially in the finance department. The financing experience was brilliant. I absolutely loved the use of iPads and the flawless e-signing process—no flipping through endless pages of physical contracts or tedious paperwork. Having had an excellent experience at the Janesville Boucher location previously, I expected the same level of professionalism. Instead, I faced a stressful, four-hour process that felt designed to exhaust me into a deal. The Experience: Intentional Delays: I arrived at 4:40 PM with my wife and baby after calling ahead to ensure a fast-track process. Despite this, every communication cycle between the salesperson and the finance team took 15+ minutes, stretching the process unnecessarily. Low-Ball Trade Offer: They initially offered $28k for my trade-in, well below market. It took persistent haggling and showing a $34,500 Carvana offer to get them to a fair number. Financing Obstacles: I came with a pre-approval from my credit union, which I explicitly stated. The dealership spent hours trying to run my credit elsewhere. At 7:00 PM, they claimed my credit union was "closed" and I couldn’t use my own financing unless I returned the next day. Bad-Faith Positioning: Knowing I live over an hour away in Janesville and that we were under an active tornado watch, suggesting I "come back tomorrow" felt like a tactic to force me into their internal financing just to get my family home safely. I ultimately took their lender's rate just to end the ordeal and drive my family home in hazardous weather. While the 2026 Palisade is excellent, the buying experience was the exact opposite of the "Boucher way" I had previously experienced.

Terrible customer service and communication. I dropped my car off at 11am and received no call or updates that day. I called the following day at 12pm, 2pm and again at 4pm asking to speak with our service advisor Devin. I never received a call back after my first two attempts and on the 3rd attempt finally spoke with Devin who gave me an update that a piece needed to be ordered for our vehicle. I addressed his lack of communication with me and he stated he has been busy.

I had my car in for service and Devin (service advisor) did not know what happened with my car (within warranty) until I was checking out and saw it on the bill. I have tried to follow-up to get additional items addressed and never responds. Also, the shuttle driver spent a large portion of the 20 minute drive talking about how unreliable Hyundai and Genesis cars are.
