Under the Hood
The stylish vehicle is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four producing 147 hp and 132 lb.-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm and supported by an intelligent variable transmission (IVT) and front-wheel drive. This engine is standard on the SE and SEL trims. The N Line trim is equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-liter producing 201 hp and 195 lb.-ft of torque and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). The Elantra’s hybrid trims include the Blue Hybrid and Limited Hybrid, which also come with a 1.6-liter engine and a six-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
