Our Favorite Things about the 2023 Hyundai Tucson

The 2023 Hyundai Tucson offers a rare combination of sporty good looks, exceptional versatility, and excellent fuel economy.  Hyundai makes this year’s Tucson in five trims – SE, SEL, XRT, N line, and Limited. The new Tucson also comes in front-wheel and rear-wheel drive, and with a choice of three different engines. Every Tucson trim comes loaded with all the latest comfort, convenience, and safety features, as well. So, it stands to reason that we love our 2023 Tucson. But, as much as we love our new Tucson, some features stand out just a little bit more than others. Here are just a few of the many things that make the 2023 Hyundai Tucson our favorite vehicle of all time.

It’s Sporty and Practical

The new 2023 Tucson has a stylish and sporty exterior that gets attention wherever we travel. Its sophisticated styling makes the 2023 Tucson look like a luxury import from every angle. Its body color door handles, shark-fin roof antenna, and side mirrors with LED turn-signal indicators make a statement wherever we go. The Tucson’s tinted glass, power-sliding moonroof with one-touch open and close and sliding sunshade adds a little fun to Saturday afternoon errands on spring days. Automatic headlights with High Beam Assist and a roof-mounted center high-mount stop lamp add safety to the mix, as well. 

The New Tucson Has a Fantastic Sound System

Our Tucson came with an amazing sound system that features a 10.25-inch color touchscreen, an AM/FM/HD/SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calling and music streaming. Integrated Android Auto and Apple CarPlay let us use our favorite music streaming and navigation apps right on Tucson’s infotainment display. Our model also came with a Bose Premium Audio System, onboard navigation, and traffic updates including incident data over HD Radio. There are also dual USB outlets in the front that act as inputs or auxiliary chargers. Steering-wheel-mounted controls let us adjust the system’s volume, make calls, and change cruise control settings without distractions.    

We Love the Quiet and Comfortable Interior

Our 2023 Hyundai Tucson came with heated, three-step front seats with stain and odor-resistant premium cloth upholstery. The eight-way power driver seat with power lumbar support makes getting comfortable a breeze. Driver and passenger enjoy their own level of comfort thanks to dual-zone automatic temperature control. We also love the Tucson’s remote keyless entry system with alarm and panic, remote start, and push-button start features. With plenty of room to stretch out on long road trips, we haven’t heard “are we there yet” since getting our new Tucson. The leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel add a luxury feel to the Tucson’s cabin.

We Feel Safe Regardless of the Weather or Road Conditions

The 2023 Tucson comes standard with all the latest driver-assist technologies. The rearview monitor has dynamic parking guidelines which help with getting in and out of tight parking spots. Features like Vehicle Stability Management, Anti-lock Brakes with 4-wheel disc brakes, and Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control and Brake Assist add peace of mind to every ride. A power window lock-out button, along with Hyundai’s LATCH seat belt system, and rear child safety locks make the 2023 Tucson a perfect vehicle for families with small children. Some of the driver-assist features on our 2023 Tucson include Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, and Lane Following Assist. The Tucson’s Tire Pressure Monitoring System also has an individual tire indicator which makes it easy to pinpoint the tire with a problem when the TPMS light comes on. 

Our Tucson Goes Everywhere and Does Everything

Our new Tucson goes everywhere and handles everything that we throw its way thanks to a 187-horsepower, 2.5-liter, inline 4-cylinder engine linked with an 8-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC and Drive Mode Select. Our 2023 Tucson also has Hyundai’s HTRAC AWD and we can tow up to 2000 pounds. Fill Ups seem few and far between thanks to the Tucson’s Idle Stop and Go feature.
